ALWAYS
- Always clip in before climbing.
- Always make sure the landing mat below you is clear before descending.
- Always absorb your landing with your legs when you reach the ground.
- Always sit back in your harness and walk your feet down the wall when descending. Use your feet and hands to keep your body clear of the wall.
- Always complete a 4-ft descent test (practice jump) on your first climb. Repeat from low heights until comfortable before climbing higher.
DO NOT
- Do not climb until you have attended the safety briefing.
- Do not stand in or run through landing zones.
- Do not climb directly above or below another guest.
- Do not hold the wall while descending—sit back in your harness and release the holds.
- Do not turn your body away from the wall when descending; always face the wall.
- Do not pull on the climbing rope while climbing.
- Do not hang upside down on the walls.
