Does everyone need to purchase a climbing pass?
Only climbers are required to purchase a pass. Spectators are welcome to cheer from the ground at no cost.
Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are not required but are strongly recommended to guarantee your spot and avoid delays if the facility is at capacity or reserved for a private event.
How does SKYSTEPS work for first-time visitors?
All guests must complete and sign a SKYSTEPS Waiver. Upon arrival, check in at reception and attend the mandatory safety briefing before you begin climbing.
Who must sign a waiver, and who can sign it?
Every person entering the Skysteps Climbing Gym must have a valid waiver. For minors, the waiver must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.
What are the weight and age requirements for climbing?
Participants must be five years and older to climb, ages 14 and under must be accompanied by a parent. Climbers must weigh between 15kgs (33 lbs) and 100kgs (220 lbs) to participate.
What should I wear for climbing?
Please wear only closed-toe shoes. No slippers, boots and heels are allowed in the climbing area. Avoid dresses, skirts, and any dangling or loose jewelry while climbing.
Can I leave my child unattended at SKYSTEPS?
No. Children must remain under active adult supervision at all times.
How early should I arrive for my session?
You do not need to arrive early. Simply come at your scheduled time and allow approximately 15 minutes for check-in, briefing, and equipment fitting.
How long does each drop-in climbing session last?
Sessions run for 75 minutes; a 15-minute safety briefing and harness fitting starting exactly on the hour, followed by 60 minutes of climbing time.
What is the cancellation policy for standard climbing passes?
You may cancel up to 24 hours before your booking by calling or emailing us. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be eligible for a credit toward a future visit.

Do you have wheelchair access?
Yes. Our main floor is wheelchair friendly.
Do you have refrigerator or freezer for storing drinks and cake?
Yes. Food, drinks and cake for birthday parties can be brought in and a refrigerator and freezer are available for use.
